I am not aware of that terminology but mind control is the biggest hurdle to pause your consciousness or focus on energy level. But I deal with it simply by just bringing natural attention on inhale & exhale once you reach at point where you can see white colour appearing as screen in closed eyes then you can let your attention to drive the natural thoughts or you can pause your mind for a while easily. This is also stage where your manifestation start taking shape & might transcend in real world... I have experienced this couple of time i.e recovered from my illness without any medicine.I talk about the spiritual discoveries of various saints and philosophers from the dawn of mankind around the world.
The majority of folks in this forum say that all other religious beliefs are false. Hence wondering if the notion of spirituality is a concept unique to Islam which is different from the spirituality in other religions and people.
Have u tried Silva mind control

@Levina
But since I married my wife fears of it , any furtherance will drag me into BABAGIRI.
There is problem with those Sufi who believed converting ppl will make the converted ones to realise the god in better way which is contrary to the characters of enlightened souls. How is Rumi not a sufi?
Depression & loneliness ....What illness..ed?
I want to start meditating. But I can't get up by 6 amThere is problem with those Sufi who believed converting ppl will make the converted ones to realise the god in better way which is contrary to the characters of enlightened souls.
Spirituality is above to distinguish god & bad, strong & week, black & white. It's purely looking at things in one objectivity & rising above all the difference of materialistic mind.
Depression & loneliness ....
Rumi was little confused between Sufism and Islam. I have read somewhere that he usually took reference from Quran to preach. How is Rumi not a sufi?
Yes, when we talk about spirituality , actually we are talking about an Indian way to connect with The Almighty.Spirituality is also a branch in Hinduism.
One can find many spiritual Hindus through out history.
Bro, Sufism, just like Islam, didn't start with Muhammad (pbuh) .. Adam was the first Muslim, He was the first Sufi.
... The Sufis are an ancient spiritual freemasonry whose origins have never been traced ... The Mughal Sufi-Prince Dara Shikoh identified Sufi teachings in the Hindu Vedas ... The world has called them Zoroastrian, Christian, Jewish, or Islamic mystics ... Sufism has multi-religious roots... Sufis are men of divine knowledge, they are not simple followers of any religion. However, there is a difference between "Jog" and "Fakar (fakiri)" ...

i have different views about Rumi and differ from both of you as i have studied Rumi too. But i have seen that OP is very defensive about this thread so keep the topic rolling, probably i would discuss Rumi on some other turf.Rumi was little confused between Sufism and Islam. But suffis only talks from their own experiences. They don't preach Quran , bible or Bhagwat Geeta.

Sufi's preaching pure teaching of Islam???Bro, have you gone and sit with Sufi brotherhoods and orders and listened to their speeches, bayans etc or joined in with their dhikrs? They are very adamant on confirming the authenticity of a spiritual master by their chain (silsila), and will not even accept nor allow anyone to accept bay'ah if it can't be proven that their chain does not go back to the Holy Prophet (saw) himself and through him to God.
Even though I am personally not a Sufi, few years back I was extremely attracted to it and even thought of joining a Tariqa only because I read the works great Sufi masters and to this day I find nothing in them except the pure teachings of Islam. One of my good friends is also a follower of the late Sheikh Nazim Al Haqqani and himself a member the Naqshbandi Order.
So I do not quite understand what you mean by saying that they are not simple followers of any religion. Unless you mean the austere lifestyle the masters impose upon themselves and those that want to follow them is found in other religions? In which case I have no issue accepting that as I believe that one cannot proceed in spirituality without giving up materialism and becoming fana'a in the way of God, loving God and loving his creation for the sake of God. This is what I have understand from my limited study of "Sufism". Now this concept is found in other religions, then this makes sense, as all true religions come from God. I think this is what would be call "mysticism" and indeed, it is universal and is found amongst older religions.
Sorry for the long winded post, I mostly agree with you.
Nice.. Why 'especially developed world'..?Spirituality is connecting with the truth. I think its a physiological state. I suffered an injury a long time ago and after that my physiology had change. That change was so subtle that no doctor could spot it. But from there onwards i knew everything. I just had to look. I once said to a few friends that i could read everything from the sky. Because such provocative talk is connected with sleaziness here (because higher abilities mean better appropriation of females) they were quick to laugh it aside. But that was it. A gate had opened. I had connected with the truth. People around me created troubles for me all these years so i went nowhere. Anyway more interesting point is that most people achieve this state. Especially in the developed world. Everybody have this crack of light in their armour of darkness. Those who achieve this state stick to that crack like a peeping tom until they see enough.
No need to wake up 6 am. You can perform this any time in day but with empty stomach. I practice often in evening 8-9 am or 8-9 pm....I want to start meditating. But I can't get up by 6 am
But many Sufi acted like religious agents to spread their religion by fooling & luring the ppl in the name of God's realisation.... However converted ppl miserably failed even to reach closer to humaneness let alone the divinity of God.Sufi's preaching pure teaching of Islam???
R u serious?? Then you were not with true Sufi. I would like to suggest you some true Sufi's like, Bulle shah, maulana Sibli, Shah inaayat, shaikh taki to read. I m sure your views will change about Sufi's after reading them.
Actually Sufi's don't believe in concept of religions. Mostly they are humanists.
