. . . . .
Is the terminal only for south asian countries?

. . .
@Muhammad Omar can U plz enlighten us what makes this terminal different from Port Qasim etc?

South Asia Pakistan Terminals (SAPT) is one of the largest deep sea container terminals in the region of South Asia & Middle East, situated at the estuary of the Keamari Groyne basin providing the most convenient access to ultra large container ships entering Karachi. South Asia Pakistan Terminals is a subsidiary of HPH (Hutchinson Port Holdings Limited) group which is the world’s leading port investor, developer and operator with a network of port operations comprising 319 berths in 52 ports, spanning 26 countries.

.
We need to move away from "South Asian" terminology and SARC garbage , we need to associate with Higher caliber countries like we did in 60's

Terminal Looks state of art , and hopefully it will create many jobs and business will flourish

TBF that is happening already. As the fact is dawning on the Pakistani people that our future and destiny lies with China and the nations West of us of whom we share the most in common with. I have seen myself that the influences from the East of us is dying a slow and painful death. The disconnect is happening. With the success of CPEC this will speed up. We need to however be patient.

This will compliment GWADAR perfectly.

Port Qasim does not have a container terminal, It mostly handles raw material like coal and iron ore for Pakistan steel.
No. It's not right.

There are lot of container yards near Port Qasim. And it also handling container ships.
