We are good in textile …. First Pakistan need to make sure China shifts all textile (especially leather textile ) related industries in Pakistan , Instead of exporting RAW leather to China we can make final products in Pakistan , we already have enough trained manpower ..
And I am also hoping for other Industries to fallow.. Let us all hope and Pray Govt take right steps in Right direction..

Hard work is the only path forward.

1) A central economic plan. East Asian nations should be the role model for any plan. The Anglo-American model needs to end.

2) Internal security. RAW and NDS will not let us prosper. They will attack any green shoots. Lets not be idiotic like under the Zardari regime and ban the death penalty...release terrorists to appease the human rights folks.

3) Human resource development. Technology can help...digital learning. Low end laborers need vocational training to produce higher quality manufactures.

4) Financial sector reforms to increase investment as a percentage of GDP. Foreign investors should be given low tax incentives for capitol FDI.

5) Infrastructure development. Power plants and transportation. CPEC will help greatly with this.

True we should be making garments like Bangladesh but we still export yarn and fabric.

Absolutely right Sir they tried as was huge demand in china they want raw hides but sanity of some govt prevails they banned export of un treated hides(dont know about now as quit that field ) .Thats why i said encouraging new peoples who will do business also as mission for Pakistan

For example textile industry, Pakistan produce expensive product then Bangladesh & india.

Now to overcome final production cost of industries, we need cheap energy, transmission lines & industrialization.

For cheap energy build dams or nuclear energy power plants both are expensive heavy one time investment.

Now back to square because we can't build dams that can provide cheap electricity because india heavily invested to make a dam controversial in pakistan & in our previous Govts tenure illogical propaganda was massively promoted against dams despite the fact that no dam in the world ever harm any country but only it benefited

Profit margins are exorbitant on textiles in Pakistan, do anyone really think an average female Shalwar Kameez cost Rs. 20,000. Why would they want to export where they have to compete....every Pakistani industry is a mafia

Perhaps you are talking about designers suits & embroidery one, But I am talking about unstitched clothes by textile industry.

Pakistan designers suits are famous even in Europe too. This is remaining source for pak textile to survive. Otherwise our textile can't compete.

Just imagine if Pakistan will be competing regionally our designers suits can be in low prize too with high quality.
