Software Engineers Thread.

CIsA is good but its not Technical . But the jobs pays well .

I know just wanted to get a second opinion on that btw can u shed some light on the benefits of CISA, is it limited to auditor role only or got a wider application...:)

Also i wanna know that since CA inst. Does not allow more than 1 degree course other than CA n i m already doing CS along with CA so m i eligible to give CISA's sept 2013 attempt or not if i get cleared my CS final in June 2013 attempt as i'll have to get registered for CISA by June 2013???:what:
 
I am not a complete SE but I m student of SE from PU.
I think Software Engineers in this forum should participate in this thread.. I thought there should be a thread where all SEs should discuss regarding their work or may be i will be getting help as a student.. :P

Hi i am a Java developer do msg if you need any help regarding web Application development using java frameworks like (Struts2, JSF 2.0, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Spring 3.0) etc.

I like developing web applications & love coding. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript(JQuery) to develop apps on firefox OS.

Buddy decide ou wanna be in finance or auditing . Finance has more more money , auditing more glamor . I am not sure about CISA but if you even have CISSP certification it will be associate certification unless you have 4 years plus of work experience in IT security Industry .

I am a science grad and working in it sec research. thats all i can say on an open platform .
 
Anyone knows what's the best way to get into software engineering? LIke should I do A levels if yes then what subjects should I choose?
 
i've done C++ but its been a while so can any one guide me of a website which i can use as a refresher !!! :cheers:
 
Ohh...since u said ur an auditor i thought ur a CA with some qualifications or experience in IT nvm...:lol:

I have worked as an Auditor in past and i have exp in IT Audit , pen testing , exploit dev , vuln research and plethora such things .

I did F.Sc and currently studying SE in Pucit. I think you should choose computer as major subject. Besides A LEVEL you can also do ICS with the subjects, computer , physics and math.

Bro actually, i haven't meet many members on this forum from commerce background except for some Pakistanis but no Indian(maybe Royal Gujjar is from comm. if i rem correctly) so i just got a little excited about u being an auditor...:)

When ur on pdf suddenly it feels like the world is filled with science grads...:lol:

A levels most schools have a limit some max 2 some max 4 subjects very few have 4-5
I have no idea what ICS is or SE. Btw I'm not in Pakistan so I'm limited to A levels and IB diploma
