Reminds me of the old Moral story about the man asking god to save him from the flood. God was helping the preacher out by having anti-venom standing by.. but god has no interest in curing stupidity or stubbornness.

Actually you see, traditional snake catchers are immune to their bites and poison. They get bites more than everyone and through generations they have developed some immunity.
