She belongs to the Irani community a sub sect of Zoroastrians. Irani's emigrated to India in the 19th century from Iran to India... Incidentally Irani's fled Iran to flee the persecution being done against non-Muslims in Iran... Their story is the same as of Parsis who emigrated to India and Sindh in 8th and 9th century to flee the same persecution of non-Muslims.At first I thought she is of Iranian origin, but then I read Wikipedia and saw that she is not.

Okay, although she is as much Indian as any of us but then again it'll be a win win situation for both of us considering the fact that she is a strong woman who will definitely guide our nation to new glories. On a serious note the Indian Parsi community is one of the most patriotic communities in this country who have contributed a lot to this country(literally a lot in terms of their minuscule population) in literally every field and have produced some of the best known scientists, businessmen, philanthropists,Generals etc.Great, I hope she becomes the next PM, so we'll officially conquer India.

Thanks a lot, actually we owe a lot to the Parsi community for their selfless service to our Motherland.Even the man who is credited of breaking Pakistan into two pieces was none other than the legendary Parsi General Sam ManeckshawYou see, that's how cool we Iranians are, even after generations of living in India.
I know, they have contributed a lot to India, heard it from many other Indian members too. Wish them and you luck.
