At least six people were injured, some of them critically in a fire Saturday at the plant of the state-run Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) in Odishas Koraput distict, police said.
The incident occurred at Sunabeda in Koraput, about 515 km from here, and the cause of the fire is being ascertained, district Superintendent of Police Avinash Kumar told IANS.
Some of the injured have suffered over 40 percent burns and have been shifted to a hospital at Visakhapatnam in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, he added.
The fire was extinguished before it could spread to other areas.
