You are treating the B-52s as unescorted bombers like the B-2 or the future B-21. The USAF would never be dumb enough to send in unescorted B-52s without the SAM sites being neutralized at first.

First off, Norway was a neutral country that was conquered by Hitler in 1940. The country you are referring to is Finland and quite the opposite happened. The Finns beat the hell out of the Russians in 1939 and again in 1941 to 1944 during the Continuation War. It was only after the Germans started collapsing on the Eastern Front in 1944 did the Finns finally broker an armistice. If anything, the wrong side here was the USSR, not the Finns, since it was the Russians who first demanded Finnish concessions.

That is the problem with Indians and US born Indians that in their delusions they seem to forget that their enemies possess similar capabilities. if you are going to lob 120 cruise missile toward Russia they will send back nearly 5-10 times. There are enough strategic bombers in Russian inventory to level every military installation in Norway if they ever become part of an attack against Russia.

Russia has a fleet of 50 bombers in total (operationalized strength). However, entire fleet is unlikely to be made airborne in one go for any theater of operations (operational risks; cost-related considerations). Russian bombers do not match American in payload capacity as well as in penetrative aspects on average. In case important Russian military positions are subjected to decapitating strikes* early on (a limited number of American bombers can do the job), Russia will not be in the position to send back nearly 5 - 10 times as you claimed (this is FANTASY claim).

USA has fielded a much bigger fleet of bombers in comparison to Russia, and USAF is a much better equipped Air Force in comparison to Russian by and large; factor in Air Wing of USN and this comparison is virtually redundant on many counts for Russia. And I am not even counting NATO as a whole in this matter. Russia is INTIMIDATING due to its significant nuclear warfare capability and geographical reach for the needful (inherited from the former USSR in large part) - not a peer of NATO in conventional aspects of warfare in modern times however (absolutely unfair comparison and consideration in theory and otherwise); Russian economy and military spending levels are not up to the task. How long this status-quo will last though... Decades from now? Russia needs to work on its economy and population growth in the coming years TBH.
