Six accords of cooperation signed between Gwadar, China’s ports

GWADAR, Jan 29 (APP): Pakistan and China on Monday inked five Agreements and a Memorandum of Understanding for strengthening collaboration between Gwadar and the Chinese port cities.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi witnessed the ceremony, as representatives of Pakistan and China inked the documents, following the inauguration of Gwadar Free Zone.

Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, Federal Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Minister of State for Information Marriyum Auranzeb, Chairman China Overseas Port Holding Company Zhang Baozhong and Gwadar Port Authority Dostain Khan Jamaldini were present.
Agreements were signed declaring Pakistan’s Gwadar and China’s Tianjin as sister ports, and Gwadar and Piung as sister cities.
Another agreement was signed for close cooperation among Pakistan State Oil (PSO), GITL and Gwadar.
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and China’s Free Trade Zone Company signed an Agreement for cooperation in their respective field.
Another Agreement was signed between Gwadar and HATA Trade City.
The MoU on Gwadar Poverty Alleviation Initiative was inked between Gwadar district government and China Overseas Ports Holding Company.

Pakistani local mainstream media like DAWN, Express Tribune, and others will either not publish positive reports about CPEC and Gwadar or will make it look an insignificant thing most of the times. DAWN has infact published lots of anti CPEC articles...

Hashoo Group to expand its five-star hotel in Gwadar

ISLAMABAD: Chian-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will benefit both the countries. Gwadar, owing to ideal location of its deep Sea Port, is expected to develop into a regional hub, serving the incoming, outgoing commercial traffic, and also facilitating in transit and intra-transit trade from many countries.
Once the connection between Gwadar Port and Kashgar through the Indus and the Karakoram Highway materialises, it will serve Pakistan and China’s economic interests as well.
According to press release, Hashoo Group invested over Rs2 billion including construction of ‘five-star hotel in the region by the name of Zaver Pearl Continental Gwadar to cater to the needs of its customers who are mostly government officials, foreigners, businessmen, bankers, tourists etc’.

Unemployment situation in Pakistan is devastating, No growth of industries and no planning from govt in this regards and due to our economic and political instability the situation is getting worst.
Gwadar is our only hope if china spare some jobs for locals.

Any one like it or not CPEC is going to take shape so there is no point to complain. CPEC is the future to break all chains west has placed Asia in.

No wonder the Pentagon boys are shredding the last remnants of decency to salvage their boat which is only getting primed for a mutiny!!! OBOR is cutting through the mind and body of the folks who settled for the status quo - lest they should forget everything is subjected to rise and fall....

China doesnt need Pakistan for their connectivity with Europe. China Europe train is already up and running

As for china exporting goods to africa via gwadar, do you really believe chinese will ship their goods all the way to gwadar port via land route then again they will ship their goods to africa via gwadar port?
