I have been to the dharna....there is a separate section for females and most of them are with their families...i hope Saleem Safi along with rest of Geo is cleaned up

PTI's DJ Butt has been arrested by the Police. Why?
ISLAMABAD – Spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shireen Mazari has confirmed that the Islamabad police have arrested DJ Butt and many of the PTI workers from the restaurant in Islamabad today.
Shireen Mazari has condemned the unlawful arrests of its workers and supporters and has demanded to release them immediately.

Police launched a ‘crackdown’ on marchers in sector G-6 of the capital and nabbed several people including DJ Butt and activists of Majlis-e-Wehdat-e-Muslimeen and Pakistan Awami Tehreek. A member of PAT negotiating team with the government, Asad Abbas, was also arrested by law enforcers. However, police did not elaborate grounds behind the arrest. Similarly, MWM workers who were present in a guest house near PTI sit-in were also nabbed by the police. PTI leader Shireen Mazari strongly condemned the arrest of DJ Butt, saying Butt was an apolitical person, hence he should immediately be released. DJ Butt has been working as official sound engineer of the PTI since 2011.

Central Information Secretary PTI, Dr Shireen Mazari, today condemned in strongest terms the arrest of DJ Butt in the early hours of Friday morning from the Guest House where he was staying and other workers from different parts of Islamabad. She said this is sheer government terrorism as no law has been broken by D J Butt who merely looked after the sound system at the Azadi dharna.
Mazari also demanded that he plus all the other workers the government has arbitrarily arrested be released immediately. She also demanded that all containers be removed from Islamabad as the IHC has already passed an order for the same. "The government will not deter our Azadi dharna by such terror tactics", Mazari added.
