PIA can improve further if the government makes the necessary changes needed to drive in the initiative.

It is operated by draconian laws which provide hurdles in operations and economics of the entity. Mr. Chairman should play by the rules until he can change them as the institution is ridden by politicized unions well versed in art of blackmail.

Before we all jump up and down complaining about the courts, One must realize what's being asked for the courts.Courts are now free of political interface and judges are only handing out decision based on law given to them by the governments..

The complain:
The general secretary of the PIA's Senior Staff Association (SASA), Safdar Anjum, had filed a petition at the high court challenging Malik's appointment as the airline's CEO. It stated that the incumbent chief did not fulfill the educational requirements nor did he have any relevant experience for the job.

Now can any of you fine Gentleman share the requirements to be P.I.A CEO, Please do so..My personal opinion is, courts are right, HE isn't qualified to be the CEO by any imagination.. This is another example of Military retired personals drawings paychecks plus running or working in crown corporations and collecting pension cheques.

We have 10000s of qualified kids can't get jobs because positions are taken by retired military personals and or political appointees.

Seeing as how you have already formed an opinion about his suitability as CEO, then perhaps you should inform us about the qualifications and experience required, in your opinion, and as to why and where Arshad Malik falls short. Also tell us about his successes and failures whilst he has been in the job as compared to his predecessors.

I was watching a this morning the marshal's interview by Moeed Pirzada (92 news channel) posted by someone on this forum.
What a gem !!!

I had just finished to watch the interview that the thread was no more... Moved or deleted ?.

My called conspiracy theories told me that many would not be happy by this interview....
