I wonder how hard it would be to have more reputable organizations like Edhi take over these institutions? Not sure what the legal framework to do such a transfer would be.

I don't think anyone has faith in the Sindh government running these facilities properly.

They are nationalising a very large number of institutions. I dont know how government will be able to manage and run them. They will surely ruin them like other government organization.

I say let them bark. Don't let your ego stop you from doing what is right.

Nationalising only institutions run by banned organizations. But I agree, Government cannot handle these, but I think it is better to take over them than let them be run by banned organizations, hopefully the Government transfers these to welfare organizations like Edhi or Chippa.

more money for the corrupt politicians

Mind you, this is a part of the initiative taken by the Federal Government and Army, do not justify the possession of assets by banned organizations under the pretext of corruption of our own politicians.

Sindh gov cant even run their own "facilities" properly ...why give them more "burden"?

Mind you, this is a part of the initiative taken by the Federal Government and Army, do not justify the possession of assets by banned organizations under the pretext of corruption of our own politicians.
No one is justifying it...Questioning how this move came about considering Sindh govt has been seen as the most corrupt EVEN in terms of running schools, hospitals and whatnot?! They should have given these to charities so they wouldnt need to spend on infrastructure and could use these already built ones! If not they should have been auctioned off for money -austerity drive style!

Issues with provincial autonomy -- the right of action in province lies with the provincial government. It is better nonetheless in my opinion that it is not in the control of banned organizations, it will be perfect if the provincial government transferred these to federal government or to public welfare organizations like Edhi and Chippa.

Agreed. Phase one always involves taking hold, hoping that it does end up being transferred to charities.
