Well I feel that they should have a bit more of a different strategy, if I was incharge of police I would ask the local government to arrange for a local ground to be booked they could use the empty area and also have medical facilites on the area this way they can have a rally without disturbing public life, however neither am I incharge nor do I think anyone would elect me if I stood.

BANE BLADE i think the whole point of a rally in pakistan is to disrupt normal life.....so even if you book a ground for them i doubt they would willingly go there and do a "peacefull" demonstration.....in pakistan it always has been about showing stregth in numbers...

Well Punjab has so many Jalsa Gah's people go their when the listen to PML(N) PPP or PML(Q) leadership or they have special squares so that people can work around the area and the rally can still be heard I am sure Sindh can do the same as well.

We are talking about Karachi with close to 12 million people. It is very congested with very little police ... so there is no other choice and norms would have to be challenged ... this is the acid test for IK ... lets see ...

Fairpoint but I thought they had places like Nishtar Park in Karachi that have previously hosted such events but yes you are correct this is an acid test for Imran Khan either he is perfectly calm and will conduct a rally or turn out like Altaf Hussain claim that his life is in danger in Karachi.

i doubt that people will go out to support imran khan even if he comes to karachi due to the fact that they will be scared of their security concerns...

I think that he will only come when he has confirmed high numbers and full support plus they can always have their car rally whith a hundred cars even though they are empty it looks like their is a massive crowd.
