Western route for CPEC has already been accepted, the only thing India is shoving it's spanners is in the prospects of it's own influence in the region,
GB will benefit from the CPEC, with new infrastructure etc, improving the standards of living for the people, not to mention to high employment rate from GB due to it's high literacy rate.

China's official position is entire Kashmir disputed territory between India and Pakistan and Aksai Chin officially a part of J&K as per UN resolution, hence according to China's own adopted stance, it become disputed territory between India and Pakistan.
