Why should Indian people leave their own country because some people don't value their religion? I suppose we can spin the argument the other way. If you don't agree to people having the freedom to put religion above the state then you are free to leave for some other country (and looking at the number of overseas Indians quite a few already have ).
You cannot ask the majority to change their laws for your religious obligations. Your religion may say to stone a woman to death for adultery but law of the land has different punishment. Which one do you think should take precedence?? For us it is the law of the land. Our laws evolve as we evolve but the religious laws are set in stone. So you see the conflict you impose on others.
