Iran is not an ally. Period

It can be in future. Let's see

Iran is an ally of Pakistan. Lately our traditional allies are behaving like enemies. Shall I name them for you?

She is one of the serving Ministers and her statement might be taken at face value by enemies of Iran which are multiple to begin with.

I understand where you coming from, however its still refreshing IMO that in my lifetime a govt minister had the guts to call out US for its wrong doing.

. .
We were always fighting the US from the word go. Just have a good look at Afghanistan and US accusations against Pakistan.

The US deep state provides refuge and support to PTM elements.

Iran actually opposes us in Afghanistan.

Makes sense from an Iranian perspective. Their interests dictate their stance, but we can overcome this blip. Look at the bigger picture. Pak, Iran and China economic relationship is what matters most. Afghanistan is just a nuisance. In fact, Afghanistan is over as we speak. Unless the Democrats won the elections and decided to undo Taliban negotiations.

. .
She couldn't do jack shit about human rights in Pakistan but is worried about human rights of Iranians

Yeah right

Just like some people here who haven't done jack shit for the country, however are lecturing others on PDF

I am not sure what is the issue here.

Allow me to explain.

China has recently concluded a significant deal with Iran, mainly focusing on securing its energy needs using Iranian oil. And that is where CPEC will come into picture. It's in Pakistan own interest that Pakistan facilitate Chinese access to Iranian energy supplies. If for whatever reason, American pressure did manage to scuttle the Chinese plan, this in turn will reduce the effectiveness and worth of CPEC.

So don't be daft, look at the bigger picture.

There is a problem for some people and let me explain what that problem is. It is old allegiances at stake. Some people have invested a lot of money in GCC nations. They have also developed a very intimate relationship with GCC nations over the decades. They have profited and benefited from their endeavours with GCC bloc. In fact they still do. It is not easy in such circumstances to accept the changing landscape. Iran is obviously a direct rival to GCC nations. It makes sense for such people to oppose Iran. You also have those that oppose Iran due to religious beliefs.

Let me give you another example. I cannot be vocal against the US even when the situation demands me to be critical. I have business ties in the US. My sons and daughters live and study in the US. How can I be impartial and critical of the US? That is the kind of situation that you are dealing with when discussing such topics.

An opinion is usually more credible when a person has no affiliations or interests at stake. I can assure you I have zero affiliation with both Iran or GCC nations. I look at Pakistan's interests. Plain and simple.

Supporting a country that acts against our interests and is in bed with Anti-Pakistan powers for decades now. Involved in Anti-Sunni acvtivites in the levant and responsible for inciting sectarian violence in Pakistan by supporting mad Zakirs to go full retard... shall I continue?
Spare me, the gulfies did much more damage sponsoring LeJ that killed hundreds and also sponsoring extremist salafist groups how tried to destroy Pakistan.

Also your saudi friends give their mate modi top awards.
Friends let's not turn it into a mudslinging contest about which country did what to Pak. The fact is that all of these countries whether Arabs, Iran, or whoever else will do what they find in their best interests. If we allow ourselves to be exploited...that's our fault. So the lesson is that we should start putting Pakistan first. Make our economy strong and set our policies in a way that we become less and less dependent on any of these countries. So that if they start hurting our interests we can show them the door without much repercussions.

The deal between China and iran happened few months ago and we are yet to see how successful it would be

Shireen mazari is playing for Iran despite being a minister for past 2 years. In past 2 years she has several times acted as an Iranian foreign minister

But clearly you want to overlook this issue of irresponsibility here
