LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch said that Sharia could not be enforced at gunpoint and through killing of innocent people.



Speaking at a ceremony here on Saturday, he said that the Constitution of Pakistan was according to the holy Quran and Sunnah and in this sense the Shaira was already enforced in the country.



He was of the view that Pakistan could not be turned into a secular state through foreign wealth and drone attacks. “And if anybody thinks so, he should be aware nobody is going to accept this”
