Shameful media coverage of the Nigerian massacre

As many as 2000 people are feared to be killed in a massacre committed by Boko Haram militants in Nigeria.
Most of the victims are thought to be women and children .
Now my condolences are with the families of those killed in Paris .
Nothing justifies what was done to them and they need to be remembered .

What is shameful is the attitude of world'd media with regards to the Nigerian massacre .
I mean here we are talking about almost 2000 people killed including children and it is presented as a secondary story to what happened in Paris.
On the homepage of major news outlets we can see the faces of the Paris attack victims and read their life stories...
Don't those children who were killed in Nigeria deserve that...its horrifying to think what they would be going through in their last moments !
I guess they just had bad luck...being born in 3rd world African country....killed because they weren't strong enough to get away...It is truly sad that their cold blooded murders weren't even worthy of getting our attention.

P.S: Again my thoughts are with those killed in Paris....i just believe the numbers alone merited that the story in Nigeria deserved getting more space!

This is the same feelings i have when i heard of hte news few days back and was not able to get a confirmation as none of the major media house was publishing this news and all were concentrating of 10 lost lives rather than 2000 lives.

This is shameful media priority and shows how much media revolves around where the money is.

This Boko Haram is more dangerous as it is going on killing speer without a check...

Then the blame for an inappropriate response lies with the Nigerian Government, not the international media.

(If it were a matter of skin color, then media would not be covering the 62 dead Pakistanis in that bus-truck collision.)
