from times past...

let me tell you this... in the last days of september, my face was distorted by a paralysis condition called "bell's palsy" that i got through a certain virus infection which generally happens in a cold place and for me it must have happened in a cinema hall... presently, medicines have removed the distortion to a large extent.

now i am not a greek god looker but still someone whose old-style looks, demeanor and stylishness many times have gotten second glances, long glances and side-comments from the ladies ( and admiring or angry-jealous from the males ) and i am used to it... the "bell's palsy" distortion gave me a realization ( not that i a socialist needed this to realize ) that looks can fade and change with change in circumstance and one mustn't judge someone on looks... i have retained my dignity, my intellect, my gentleness and my empathy despite the visible distortion on my face.

now this virus-borne condition could happen to anyone, including you, and unlike me what if takes a long time to repair or perhaps becomes life long?? what if people prefer to make excuses to make exit from you at the first opportunity?? what if facebook pages mention you as ugly??

and what malala suffered is uncountably different than my medicinally-treatable temporary paralysis-induced face distortion.

it is my belief that malala, when she has released herself from usa government's attempts to use her, is fit to be one of the leaders of south asia.

I think Sahid Afridi , Shoib Akhtar and Wasim Akram is most famous figure of Pakistan in abroad. I don't know who is this guy 'Fawad khan'? I don't know if in any other field Pakistan has internationally famous figure apart from Cricket.

I know Pakistan hockey team plays gream game but I don't think it has produce any famous figure in hockey. Squas , boxing haven't heard much Pakistani name in.

On topic:
The Pakistani celebrities that I know of 're Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Shahid Afridi, Atif aslam and RAHAT Fateh ali Khan.
The only 2 women from Pakistan who are famous for the right reasons are Benazir Bhutto and Malala.
I am not sure if Fawad Khan is as famous as the names mentioned above.
