If he said that, and I am rephrasing what is out there, that rank and file should not go against people sentiments and user their brain etc. This is different from criticizing Army about their political role. He did a big mistake because what he said has bad connotations about discipline of the army.
Army has assumed a wrong role but still we can't provoke their command structure.

It is no harm if PTI say that it was a wrong statement and we are not with it.

N league bhas what we say seven murders forgiven. But they were cunning and did not went against Army discipline even implicitly.
PTI should strongly go against Army interference, the harm it has caused but carefully to not provoke discipline issues in army.

Anyways, I am actually glad Shahbaz Gill has been shut up...he is a stupid and uncouth guy, whose sole purpose in PTI is to serve as a counter to the likes of Danyal Aziz and Ata Tarar. Is say pehle sab kehte thay PTI burger log hain, can't give an answer...aye lo fir.

This is quiet overboard and Army reaction is justified and n league and ppp all got a godsend to malign PTI.
He was a professor at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and expected to have better sense.

I think PML-N and Co.'s criticism or randi rona , is understood to be out of political motivation. But it is not a secret that PTI has huge following among  Fauji families, and this has caused some veterans to break discipline. This might be the problem point, and the reason Army is trying to chase away any controversy that involves PTI.

It is incitement, I can't say how much tolerance army has on this kind of talk.
But if you go over N league and PPP statements they say everything but don't incite rank and file.
In the current hot environment he should have not said that.
Point out army political interference but do not go to tell rank and file to think about orders.
I mean army has not much brains anyway

Well, honestly, Army has become whatever, but one cannot incite rank and file. Discipline is what makes army an army.
