A very ugly looking weapon indeed and poor performance to add:lol::lol:
Its the Man behind the gun which is important.

India sucessfully drove the infiltrators out of our lands, which was our aim and which prove we did won the war.

Whose Political pressure, or rather he was just the face of the Pakistani army, who was send by the PA for the safe passage out of the mess.

Insas is the battle rifle for the Indian Army, first it was never designed for the beauty, second it was designed for the IA requirement and for the Indian conditions, which it fulfills. I will not go with the experts view on the internet or here on PDF, rather when I asked some of my friends, who use them, because they are soldier in Indian army says they like Insas, because its very accurate, and uses 5.5mm instead of 7.2, so that they can carry more ammunition.

second about its heavy weight, their opinion is that it helps in the accuracy.

third about its 3 bullet burst and no automatic burst, their opinion is that in a war, each bullet is worth, and one bullet should be for one target, not spraying the rain of a bullet for a target.

fourth Indian conditions from hot weather of Rajasthan and to the cold weather of Siachin glacier, this rifle performs well.

fifth for equipping 1.2million army you cannot do that with the costly exported rifle, however few special units could be equiped with the exported ones.

A fine looking weapon too. Would be a welcome addition to our armory.

Bro, Pakistanis are our brothers... We are more than welcome to share any technology you want! I would also be happy to see Turkey and Pakistan cooperating together...

The K2 rifle replaced the M16A1 assault rifle of the South Korean Armed Forces and is also used by the forces of Bangladesh, Ecuador, Fiji, Indonesia, Lebanon, Malawi, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines and Senegal.

Indonesia don't use K2, we use SS series from PINDAD.

I mentioned majority of the soldiers still using may be in future all soldiers will use this.

No mate, wrong info. Indonesian soldiers don't use K2. Our standard issue rifle today is SS series. We license build 10.000 FNC back in 1984. In 1991, we start using SS1 for standard rifle and we adopt the SS2 for standard rifle in 2006.

Heckler & Koch G36
The Heckler und Koch G-36 assault rifle had been born as HK-50 project in early 1990s. The reason behind that project was that the Bundeswehr (the German army), after the cancellation of the G11 and G41 projects, was left with outdated G3 rifle and no modern rifle, compatible with the current NATO standards at hands. Therefore the famous company Heckler & Koch was set to develop a new assault rifle for both German army and the export. The new 5.56mm assault rifle has been adopted by the Bundeswehr in the 1995, and in the 1999 the Spain adopted its slightly different, export version, G36E as its standard infantry rifle. The G36 also found its way into the hands of various law enforcement agencies worldwide, including British police and some US police departments. So far I've heard very few complaints about this rifle, and a lot of good revives and opinions. In fact, the only complaints about G36 that I know are the overheating of the handguards during the sustained fire, and the loose of zero of built in scope on some G36KE rifles, used by US police. Some German soldiers also complained about position of dual optical sights and those sights being easily fogged in bad weather (rain or snow). Otherwise it is a good rifle, accurate, reliable, simple in operations and maintenance, and available in a wide variety of versions - from the short-barreled Commando (some even said that it's a submachine gun) G36C and up to a standard G36 rifle. The MG36 squad automatic weapon (light machine gun), which was initially designed as a heavy-barreled version of the G36, was in fact a short-lived proposition that never went into mass production.

Caliber 5.56x45mm (.223 Rem)
Length (buttstock open / folded) 998 / 758 mm 860 / 615 mm 720 / 500 mm
Barrel length 480 mm 320 mm 228 mm
Weight empty 3.6 kg (3.3 kg G36E) 3.3 kg (3.0 kg G36KE) 2.8 kg
Magazine capacity 30 rounds standard
Rate of fire 750 rounds per minute

We also use the Taiwanese T91, UAE Caracal CAR 814, and South Korean K11

The Indonesian Rifle really looks like a promising contendor for Pakistan's next service rifle

Do you see the difference in handling part of the rifle?

Pindad SSX is experimental design for 7.62mm rifle. We use NATO 5.56mm for our standard SS rifle. The design might change a bit here and there when we finaly decide to mass produce this rifle.
