This new map shows how easily white Europeans associate black faces with negative ideas.

Since 2002, hundreds of thousands of people around the world have logged onto a website run by Harvard University called Project Implicit and taken an “implicit association test” (IAT), a rapid-response task which measures how easily you can pair items from different categories.

To create this new map, we used data from a version of the test which presents white or black faces and positive or negative words. The result shows how easily our minds automatically make the link between the categories – what psychologists call an “implicit racial attitude”.

I wonder if it's because there are not many non Serbian people in their country. They might not have the negative experiences with immigrants? I know other parts of eastern Europe certainly are racist. You also have to consider the impact the Balkan wars had on the thought process of people in that area. A lot of evil was done, many people have been horrified by it and realise the danger of ethnic division.

Look what the data suggests. It's odd i know, but surely you have to go by the data? i actually took part in this survey and it's pretty comprehensive. it still feels odd though.

Test is completely flawed to start off with.

Just because Serbs, most of whom probably never saw a black person in real life, automatically do not have negative views of them does not make them not racist. They have not had real life negative experiences with black people unlike a lot of countries in the West.

Based on the results, Ukraine, Belarus, and Lithuania are all in red. And I doubt they have large amounts of blacks in their country.

Why would there be a difference in media in this case? Blacks are stereotyped the same in almost every media.

Well, Serbs are quiet racists when it comes to Turks for Ottoman memories and our support for Bosnian brothers. But recently major developments are set between 3 on economy and trade.

Harvard is one of top three university in the world. So we should believe them.

The best proof for peaceful Serbs is the fact that Serbian man is most favourite husbands for following nation.

Russian ladies prefer Serbs as their third most popular husbands/boyfriends (after Russians and Ukrainians).
Hungarian ladies prefer Serbs second to Hungarian man.
There is more then 10.000 Albanian wifes, and more then 8.000 Albanian hookers that want to please Serbian working class population in brothels in South Serbia.
Croatians ladies cannot be separated with Serbs. They are in some special connection. My grandmom, was a Croatian married to a Serb. They are hundreds of thousends of them.
Bosniaks ladies dont want to grow in some unpleasant towns of Bosnia with no perspective. They are going to Belgrade for opportunity. They are many marriages between young Bosniak ladies with old rich Serbs in Belgrade which finance their dream (most often in singer career).

Back to the 90'. Foreign prostitutes was like some exotic "drugs". They was more then 80.000 foreign prostitutes in Serbia. (more then 90% of total number of prostitutes).
Nigerian, Vietnamese, Japanese ( most exocit ones)...they all worked here.
Racism dont have a place in Serbian hearts, only pure love and passion for all women of all nationalities and races all over the globe.

So a drunken brawl in Grece, proves that Serbs are racists? Wars in former Yugoslavia, had nothing to do with racism, we are all the same race, and except Albanians we even belong to the same group of Slavic tribes. It was a civil war in which all sides committed some horrible things, but it's funny how here many people pretend that it was all done by evil Serbs. In those wars there were some 64 000 Bosniaks killed, 37 000 Serbs, 19 000 Croats, 10 000 Albanians and 1-2000 of all the others. That is probably the most precise data collected by Serbian, Kosovo and Sarajevo Humanitarian Law Center, Research and Documentation Center in Sarajevo, Serbian Veritas organization...... (Those are lists with names of all known victims after years of research) And you need to have in mind that Serbs didn't kill all the rest, Croats and Bosniaks were killing each other in Bosnia from 1992 up to 1994. Just google the Croat–Bosniak War, around 10000 casualties on both sides. Or war between Bosniaks and other Bosniaks, try googling Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia. Also during the NATO bombing of Kosovo some 250 Albanians were killed by them, and few hundred of Albanians were killed by KLA during the conflict and after it, for different reasons, some because they were loyal to Serbian government and others in fight for power.

And no Serbs are not racist. There is for example bunch of Black people here, many of them are students from African countries, and none of them ever had a problem because they are black. Same thing with Chinese people working here. Only cases of racism i ever noticed in Serbia was some football hooligans chanting some racist bullshit during the game at opposing team black player. But that is just a few drunken fools, and even that is completely rare, even though bunch of black players are playing for Serbian basketball and football teams.

Уживај у фесту троловања. Не нервирај се. Овде је свака валидна и истинита информација изгубила сваки значај. Говорим стриктно у овом подфоруму. Tbh, Albanias from Albania, especially Christian Albanians, are in general far, far more racist than Serbians from Serbia. This is my impression. Even some employees of TİKA said in confidential conversations that Serbians usually treat them better than Albanians.

However, Serbian people from Bosnia are the most racist people of all Europe when it comes to interaction with Muslims.

The racist tendencies of the Serbian people (from Serbia) are kind of inconsistent and sometimes even strange in these days. On the one hand the young generation tend to be racist in political topics and opinions. On the other hand they won't be racist to individuals from groups which they reject in political terms. In fact, many Turks were positively suprised after they had visited Serbia.

Then again, the majority of Turkish people literally consider Bosniaks as their siblings. They will always side with them no matter what.

Thus, a real Serbian-Turkish friendship without the approval of the Bosniaks is effectively impossible. The 'Balkan lobby' (Turks of Albanian, Bulgarian, Bosnian, Greek, Romanian etc. origin) in Ankara, İstanbul and İzmir is extremely strong.

The situation in the Balkan region today is different and more complicated than it was in the 90s.
