Self-Exiled Baloch Nationalist Leader Pledges Allegiance to Pakistan

.
Dr Jumma Khan Marri, self-exiled Baloch sub-Nationalist leader and son of famous Baloch guerilla fighter Mir Hazar Khan Marri (chief of Bajrani Marri tribe), announced his separation from the Baloch uprising.

He made this announcement during an event organised by the Pakistani community, especially Balochs, in Moscow to celebrate ‘Pakistan Unity Day’ under the slogan ‘United We Stand, Divided We Fall’.

Dr Jumma Khan, along with his supporters, made this revelation when the Baloch leader was making a speech on the occasion. It merits mention here that Dr Jumma designed the national flag of the Baloch uprising.

On the occasion, he also announced to launch an organisation ‘Overseas Pakistani Baloch Community’ to counter Baloch separatist movement abroad.

His agenda also included confronting and exposing evil Indian designs in Balochistan province of Pakistan and the personalities involved in the separatist movement, to bring back to Pakistan all innocent/misguided Baloch youth living abroad on political asylum, resolving the problems of Baloch through peaceful means and dialogues.

apparently he was the guy that designed the flag

. . . .
Good. The Baloch have always been Pakistanis. Also Baloch are a minority in Pakistan, they cannot secede.

.
So the Baloch separatists outside Pakistan are surrendering (per se) too. RAW must be fuming.

. .
Call it a version of 'Affirmative Action' of Pakistan to actively recruit Baloch youth into Pakistani military and to grant them increasing role in various CPEC projects.
Balochistan's separation chances were always very low due to demographics--just as Khalistan in India was not a big chance.
This is a welcome news for Pakistan.

. . .
So tomorrow if Altaf Hussain pledges allegiance with Pakistan, he will be accepted as a patriot?

interesting

So tomorrow if Altaf Hussain pledges allegiance with Pakistan, he will be accepted as a patriot?

Altaf is irrelevant in Pakistan now. And the case of Urdu speakers has always been very different than that of a portion of Balochistan population: The Urdu speakers have some legit grievances but the idea of secession from Pakistan hasn't found audience in even 1% of Urdu Speakers.

Altaf should be left alone--never to allowed to come back to Pakistan but neither hunted down either. Don't make martyrs out of no-bodies!
