FYI! There are now HUGE US military bases in Germany, Japan, Italy, and UK. Even 60+ years on, they serve as a reminder that who is the boss.

That's why it is important for Pakistan or even China to continue to be trading partners with USA. The other options are not too good. Do they?

The whole CIS market size -- around 20 million

Make peace with Pak, and do trade overland direct to Pakistan.

I've yet to see anyone that has seriously looked at this claim that it's okay if pak does not get any aid and the drone attacks stops.
Fact: The taliban, whichever flavor you want to support have in some faction or other said it wants to make Pakistan into an Islamic caliphate.

Question is, who here is willing to place a side bet that they will never post here again - if any attacks persist after US stops its aid and drones? where will pak have the money to handle the terrorists attacks for it's armies? do you honestly think the goals of the taliban will up and vanish? Do you honestly think you would have got the TTP leaders that drones managed to get? do you even have the technology to get it done? who is force feeding you the meme that all problems go away if the US goes away?

All this was done on the basis of democratic principles and seeing how oppressive the king was getting.On the otherhand you supported a blood thirsty Taliban and kept a blind eye to all the inhuman attrocities the Taliban was doing, all because you cannot tolerate Indians in AF.
