Bahawalpur media reporters searching for Namazis to report a breaking news about coronavirus cause of spread.

I found a very powerful image that speaks volumes about how media is all guns trying to demonize Namazis.

A reporter is looking through a whole inside an empty mosque trying to find few Namazis to deliver a breaking news on how Namazis are responsible for spreading coronavirus.

Journalists love to discuss very powerful images. So I thought what would be more powerful than shown the true face of people who try to forge public opinion. The effort they put in to blame the virus on religion.

Yes no gathering for namaaz in musjids. Globally musjid are closed. The iman moaddan etc can pray in the musjid..max of 5 people. No jumma prayers either

Then media is doing the right thing- Media is sniffing around who isn't following Government's instructions/orders. Namazis can nominate a person's home and gather there for salah ba-jamat if more than 5 - if they want to circumvent, but that is still a safety concern.

Excellent post sir. Counters the narrative that religious types are simply culpable by default.

Everyone needs to listen to guidelines, be they religious or not. Specific individuals can be rightly called out for breaking rules but when agenda driven agencies create fake news, it is a greater threat to the nation than any virus.

Lol no they are not doing the right thing. First namaz is not stopped at masjid it has been made limited. 5 people are allowed to offer it in mosque. Secondly there are many places in cities where people gathering are much larger than 5 people. I know few factories are still operating quietly defying lockdown and media know about it but still silent cause owners are cooperating people.
