SC gives Talal Chaudhay one week to hire lawyer in contempt case

Supreme Court of Pakistan has given one week to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhary to hire a legal counselor.

The PML-N leader requested the apex court to give him three week as lawyers of Supreme Court are busy. The court rejected his plea.

Three-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal heard the case. Furthermore, the top court issued show cause notice to Talal Chaudhary.

Supreme Court issued contempt of court notice to Talal Chaudhary for making "derogatory and contemptuous speeches/statements" against judiciary.
