Asia Times from what I know is a Thailand based publication which gives opinion space to pro-US PAkistani dalaals [pimps] or what we call rent a journalist, like Husain Haqqani. Please google first what these US rented op-ed journos have written in the past regarding Turkey or Erdogan or Islam. They basically post rumors and grapevine of the few in Islamabad which mite be completely false also.
These journos like traitor people with their own foreign agenda have actually ruined and destroyed the image of Pakistan more than American or Indian anti-Pakistani writers since 9/11 as they've been coordinating with them.
