Are you implying that Saudis could be like Indians after the oil expires as the worst case scenario? There are allot of other non-oil sectors growing by 6-7% per year, multi-billion economic cities...etc, although oil will expire after at least 100 years, and despite that there is huge reserves of oil & gas shale and other natural resources, Saudis started working on post-oil era years ago.

KSA is already the biggest donor to other Arab countries. Not only Arab countries but Muslim AND non-Muslim. KSA donations to Pakistan are the biggest BY FAR. We have even donated to Europe and many Christian countries, Africa etc.

I am not sure how international agreements on the subject go, but personally it seems logical for them not to carry those who only have Israeli passport to KSA.

The problem is Saudi Airline stops at Jeddah while enroute to any other destination. The issue is they cannot enter KSA with israeli passport, thats what the issue is

My friend the hajj revenues only account to like 3% of our total revenue. More is used to maintain the holy sites than what we receive. Anyway the hajj should never become a state business that the country relies on just a obligation that has been entrusted to us.

Besides we will be doing fine no matter what happens if the government continues to make wise decisions, the people continue to educate themselves because we have everything else to continue to be a successful nation/region. Besides we have an enormous potential with solar and wind energy and many other things.

Besides even before the discovery of oil some areas of KSA were rich and prosperous and way before Islam too. People will never live like 100 years ago anywhere else especially not in 100 years time or so. The world would have changed tremendously by then. Being considered "poor" in 100 years time would probably equal to being wealthy today in terms of luxuries and abilities to have a good life.

Anyway whatever happens in the future only Allah (swt) will know but I know that some of my fellow countrymen, depending on the region, lived under harsh conditions and survived and thrived for centuries not long ago. So I am not fearful at all. The late King Faisal of KSA had some good and true quotes about that.

500, can I ask you what your Jewish background is? Just out of interest. Also how many Jews understand Arabic or acquire it? I know that Arabic and Hebrew are both Semitic languages and quite similar. I myself even grasp quite a lot of Hebrew but I also have an interest in Semitic languages.
