I could be wrong but it’s seems like Saud’s are willing to invest 16 to 18 billons on varies projects, including oil and gas, desalination, power generation, housing, etc.

Their investment in fuel based power projects doesn’t mean anything as it adds nothing. China will be more then willing to invest in such projects. But if KSA agreet to invest in

Gwadar oil city
Mohmand dam
Diamer basha dam

That will be awesome as well as more beneficial for Pakistan then imported coal/gas based powerplants.

.
It won't be just money .. will be something that give Pakistanis a jaw drop reaction.
Amazed at how you have access to such inside information :P
Talking with conviction and surety !!

It seems there are some serious energy reserves in Pakistan. World biggest oil explorer Exxon and world biggest oil producers Aramco to be in Pakistan at same time is very telling.

With Saudis in gawadar. Chinese already there. American interests also of sorts catered to by allowing Exxon to explore off shore, with this level of involvement of some serious players, the rats in east need to be very careful in stoking any non sense in Baluchistan.

.
Saudia also can help in Water sector invest in water desalination sector gain some profit from sale of water to city of sindh

Even owning 10-15% revenue from Desalination water sale to Pakistan , would be a nice side income for Saudia if they want to get away from just oil revenue

  • Pakistan's Desalination Sector (Potential is massive)
  • Pakistan's Waste conversion plants

Are two segments untouched by foreign investment
