I am not here to debate which is more dangerous - the original Tamil Jallikattu or its cheap Andhra imitation, which is off topic. My point is to highlight the trampling of Tamil culture by culture less Indian imperialist.
As for your claim, I have browse internet sites, no where is it mentioned that Jallikattu is a traditional Gulti or Kannadiga sport, unless you can provide the evidence or fabricate new evidence to show Jallikattu is a ancient Gulti /Kanndiga sport.
Jallikattu has evolved in the last 5000 yrs. In Tamil sangam literature its mentioned as the sports of the Mullai region known as Yeru thazhuvuthal (embrace the bull) . During the colonial era it was referred to as jallikattu, a Tamil and not Gulti terminology.
Just because some Gultis in border areas have their imitation version of jallikattu - it doesn't make Jlliakttu a Gulti sport . Furthermore, my contention is how Indian govt uses SC/ via PETA to ban Jallikattu in Tamilandu not Andhra to suppress Tamil culture. This discrimination and oppression gives Tamils a valid ground to be freed from pseudo Aryan occupation.
