Saudi deals boosted US arms sales to record $66.3bn in 2011

^^ Just take a look at how many states in the top 15 countries with Muslim population have good relations with the US. The only exceptions are Iran and Sudan. The total Muslim population in the top 15 will work out to more than 50%, I think.

Foreign policies going wrong is a function of strategy not religion.

They shud ask for ToT for everything they are paying in billions after all otherwise it wud be very stupid of them..

Saudi Arabia is not that developed to set up factories to produce the kind of weapons that the Americans are selling them.

Turkey is the only muslim majority country with that capacity and thats why there is a F-16 plant there.

Just like Saudis loving buying Italian sports cars and driving them without having no knowledge on how they are build.

So similarly, Saudis are going for the most expensive military hardware with no knowledge how its built or functions.

.
So India is not the world's largest importer now. And look at the difference between no. 1 and no.2

The US is KSA's primary arm merchant and this said deal is a one time big ticket purchase for her, so that's why it seems large. India has diversify suppliers in the US, Russia and France.

I repeat, fyi
When some leader of a Muslim majority country helps the number 1 enemy of Muslims worldwide revive its flagging and dying industry, perhaps temporarily, that is another tell-tale sign that leader is also an enemy of Muslims worldwide.

National interests over-rule religious interests. That's what is happening. That's fyi.

Saudi is a 100% Muslim country (in name). All its citizens are Muslims (in name). It also includes two of the holiest cities for Muslims worldwide. Boosting the flagging industry of a global enemy of Muslims (which had indirectly threatened Saudis as well in the last decade, and whose threats subsequently "forced" Saudi to change its domestic and foreign policy as well as disenfranchise a large part of the population) is not in their national interests, but in the national interests of the number 1 enemy of Muslims alone.

Their national interests would be best served by moving away from the number 1 enemy of Muslims and diversify not only their arms purchases but their diplomatic energy on numerous international powers, and by strengthening the bonds between Muslim countries so that ultimately the Muslim Ummah - of which Saudi Arabia is also an integral part - can effectively fight against any non-Muslim mischief in unison.

Your complete arguement is based on a single line which you have framed.
