Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania are witnessing popular positions rejecting the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mogammad Ben Salman, not to mention that Tunisian militants are calling for a demonstration against this visit in the center of the capital, reported the satellite channel Lebanese alMayadeen.
In Tunisia, the Union of Journalists sent an open letter to President Béji Kayed Sibsi, condemning the war crimes committed by Saudi fighter jets and the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Saudi coalition in Yemen.
The text also said that "the MBS tour was aimed at whitewashing Ben Salman's criminal record against the background of his involvement in heinous crimes, the latest of which was the assassination of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi."
The letter described MBS as "a threat to security and peace, a real enemy of freedom of expression".
In an interview with alMayadeen, Mohamed Youssoufi, a member of the executive committee of the Union of Tunisian Journalists, said "the union and various civil society partners were planning to demonstrate in front of the Saudi Embassy in Tunis to protest against the visit of Ibn Salman ".
For his part, Mohamed Ali Bougdiri, deputy secretary general of the Tunisian General Labor Union, stressed that "Palestine remains the main concern of the Tunisian people".
He insisted that "we continue to incriminate standardization".
For his part, the head of the National Organization against Normalization with Zionism and for supporting the resistance, Ahmed Kahlawi said that "Saudi Arabia was responsible for the crimes committed against the people of Yemen and the Syrian people" .
He stressed that "the role of Saudi Arabia in the region has diverted the compass towards the projects of the Zionist enemy".
"The visit of the Saudi Crown Prince to Tunisia should be an opportunity to end the confrontation with this Wahhabi regime," said al-Kahlawi.
Gamal Ben Abdel Salam, leader of the new Algerian front, noted the fundamental differences between the positions of Algeria and those of Saudi Arabia on the question of Palestine, aggression against Syria and relations with Iran.
A group of artists and intellectuals decided to "present in the administrative court an urgent case to prevent the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince accused of killing and beheading journalist Khashoggi and other crimes, for our country ".

ALGIERS - Mohammed bin Salman began a tour abroad on the "instruction" of his father, King Salman, "anxious to strengthen the kingdom's relations at the regional and international levels" and to continue "cooperation and contacts with sister countries in all areas, "according to a cabinet press release.

"The Crown Prince seeks" Arab and Islamic "legitimacy in the fear that his rivals will seize power by force and deprive him of the duty of guardian of the two holy places of Islam to replace his aging father", wrote the
Algeria Patriotic news website .
The same electronic newspaper considers that through this visit, as part of a tour in several Arab countries, "Mohammed ben Salmane seeks to redo a virginity with" Arab brothers ", giving his version of the supporters and the outcome of this case [the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi] which confirmed the brutal and savage nature of the Saudi regime ".
A petition, signed by a little over a thousand people, was launched by Algerian netizens demanding the cancellation of this visit
According to US media, the CIA has no more doubts about the responsibility of Mohammed bin Salman in the murder. But President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the US foreign intelligence agency had "nothing absolutely certain," and reaffirmed its support for the leaders of the kingdom.
After Donald Trump's stance, "it's hard not to see this regional tour as a turn of honor," Kristin Diwan told AFP from the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington. "Going to friendly countries forces these states to show their support for the Crown Prince, and serves to rally regional support before the G20," she said.
A
petition , signed by a little over a thousand people, was launched by Algerian netizens demanding the cancellation of this visit. "Because of the many victims who, like our brothers in Yemen, must feel our solidarity as Algerians worthy of thinking about their vulnerability, the Algerian authorities are called upon not to be suitable for crimes that have not yet been elucidated."
The president of the Movement for the Society for Peace (MSP, Islamists), Abderrezak Makri, told the
media that "to welcome the crown prince during this period is not favorable to the image of Algeria, nor to its reputation ".
For Makri, MBS is responsible for "the deaths of children and civilians in Yemen, the imprisonment of many preachers, jurists and men of culture in the Kingdom and, lately, the assassination '' daechien ' 'from Djamel Khashoggi'.
The leader of the Islamist party also explained that the crown prince was in Algiers for "maybe reassure Algeria on the oil price fall and he hopes to turn it into banana republic".

Algeria depends mainly on its hydrocarbon resources and every drop in the price of a barrel is a major threat to its economic equilibrium.
The Algerian authorities have not yet confirmed this visit.
Anger in Tunisia
In Tunisia, where MBS is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday (December 27th), some 50 lawyers have been tasked by journalists, bloggers and activists to lodge a complaint in Tunisian courts with the aim of opposing this visit.
In an open
letter to Tunisian President Béji Caïd Essebsi, the National Union of Tunisian Journalists denounces this visit, calling it a "provocation" and a "blatant violation of the principles of the 2011 revolution".

"Khashoggi's blood has not dried yet. The assassin Mohammed bin Salman is not welcome in Tunisia, "denounced Neji Bghouri, president of the union of journalists.
In this letter, the SNJT speaks of the Saudi Crown Prince as a "real danger to peace and security in the world" and an "enemy of freedom of expression".
While presidential advisor Noureddine ben Ticha told
Mosaic FM that "MBS was welcome in Tunisia, like other Arab leaders," activists called for a demonstration in front of the presidential palace. Carthage Tuesday, the day of the arrival of the Crown Prince.
Morocco, "shunned" and "boycotted"
In Morocco, where no movement is planned, Tel Quel
questions the reasons for a "boycott": "Officially, there is no tension between Rabat and Ryad, who appointed, on November 18, a new ambassador to Morocco in the person of Abdellah ben Saad Al Ghariri, "notes the magazine recalls that a month earlier, King Mohammed VI was receiving the Saudi Minister of the Interior.
In June, Riyadh's support for the North American US-Mexico-Canada trio at the expense of Morocco for the organization of the 2026 World Cup was, however, poorly received in Rabat. Especially since, as recalled by Tel Quel, "the adviser of King Salman and the chairman of the Saudi Olympic Committee and the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) had indirectly criticized Morocco through media outlets."
"This allows us to gauge the quality of relations between Morocco and its Gulf partners. Formerly unwavering allies, their relations with Morocco have greatly deteriorated following the strengthening of the position of Mohamed ben Salmane, and especially because of the neutrality of Morocco in the crisis of Qatar, "said at the time a Moroccan sports analyst at
Middle East Eye.
The news site Le Desk
believes that this situation shows how "the disputes between Rabat and Riyadh have not been ironed out". The site also recalls that early July "Saudi sources had announced that King Salman had canceled his traditional summer stay in Tangier because of the cold snap in relations between the two kingdoms.
