Saudi Billionaire Businesswoman Marries Her Pakistani Driver

Nice.
But no hijab, niqab, burkha? I heard SA recently allowed women to drive. Do they actually allow much more freedom to women than what media portrays? E.g. can they marry men of their choice? (Note: the customary "kubool hai" is NOT a choice)

no one is forced to wear hijab or anything, it’s their own choice. I’ve seen videos of people in jeddah not wearing hijab and nothing happens, but most of Saudi Arabia pretty sure your meant to wear niqab or hijab, it’s the western media displaying otherwise, but then again that’s mostly the “new generation” and at the rate it’s going I’m pretty sure a lot of these laws will be relaxed as time goes on, is that a good thing? Idk.

It is not an achievement to marry old spinster like her. If she was really that amazing , pretty sure saudi men would have chased after her. The only silver lining is that she is a billionaire.

Be like Imran,, marry a woman half his age who belongs to royal family and is very pretty.

no offence to the driver but Imran Khan and people like the driver are totally different, one is a driver, the other was a Oxford graduate, good looking and athletic and a world class cricketer, connections with big people and had ladies running after him left right and centre.

Yup you are right. That is like comparing orange and apples.

Pakistani dude did hit a jackpot though... From rags to riches. Legendary..

He is also relatively more aesthetic than girl.

I think even if it is not real still it is a big thing as Saudis are reluctant to marry Pakistanis, not talking about some young lovebirds. On top of it, if she is rich, then it is very difficult as probably she is from a good background (tribe-wise). So saudi consider clan/tribe for marriage in general, and out of country is unthinkable.
Nonetheless, I pray they stay happy and blessed.

And for rest of us :suicide:

oh for sure, he hit more than a jackpot. You’ll never see a driver marry a billionare, especially in Saudi. I guess it’s time for me to become a driver too.

This may be real, may be not

Probably not real imo

What kind of billionaire will marry not just a driver, but a driver who isn't even of the same culture as them?

Doesn't happen, especially not in Arabia

Congrats to the guy. He s already managed to secure the rest of his life in rich even if they dont get along well in the future.:D

But hope they do well for a lifetime

Plus, refused to take millions of pounds during divorce process and didn't fight for the custody of his sons ...

If he is good looking enough, nothing can stop a lady get him.

It isn't that simple. Good looking people are not a commodity exclusive to particular ethnic groups, there are plenty of fine Saudi/Arab men to choose from. And in many societies, marriages are not just about love. Tribal ties matter a lot, as does the ability of the husband to be able to provide for the woman and improve her social standing. He also needs to impress the woman's family.

A Pakistani driver ticks none of these boxes for a Saudi billionaire.
