Saudi Arabia Is On The Brink Of Losing Control Of oil markets

. .
.
How?🤔 It’s the biggest and the most prolific producer...
The market are flooded with many oil players and worst of all accelerated by pandemic which reduces the usage of oil.

Saudi economy are heavily depend on oil export compare to other oil players like Russia whose oil revenue is not as critical compare to Saudi.

Oil business sines has always been cyclical, they may face a little tight economy like any other country who’s earning depends on oil, but the time, it will blow over..Oil is still the driving component of this world and there is nothing in sight that may replace it...

If EV are allowed to continue to strive. It will be the doomed of oil export countries. Automobile constitute a bulk of usage of oil. Electricity can be obtained by coal, renewable source , nuclear and natural gas.

It is only in combustion automobile industries where oil cannot be substitute.

I have been strangely hearing that the oil market will collapse since the 80s and people saying the gulf states will go broke so furth and so on. It is almost +40yrs ago and soon 50 years ago. Nothing has changed these countries have in fact only gotten richer as time went on. For the next 30-40 this won't change but I think 50 years from now an alternative to petro will emerge.

By that time Saudi Arabia could colonize neighbouring countries or even other countries since it's so far away in future. There is no guaraantee House of Saud will reach that far into the future. I think one big Islamic country will emerge unified by that time

poorer? you mean richer their economy has only increased. 50-years from now is post WW3 but until the SaudiS will keep increasing in GDP. The world map will completely change there will be no more sykes-picot lines. New borders will emerge and countries etc etc. Saudi Arabia as state will not remain but it will join a bigger unified Islamic country composing of as much as 50 countries

Where did u get the news their economy increase?

The government of Saudi wouldn't keep slashing spending budget for last few years if as you claim , getting richer. Saudi honeymoon era is over.

These are the same dooms naysayers since the 70s same thing but far from reality.

The forecasted gross domestic product growth in Saudi Arabia for 2021 was 2.9 percent, compared to minus 2.3 percent in 2020 following the COVID-19 pandemic. Amongst the ten leading oil producing Arab countries, Saudi Arabia was the fifth strongest economy.

Once Hajj/Umra season start they will be better shape . But no guarantee of oil revenue. Because for last many decades Saudi enjoy Iraq-Iran oil quota ..

.
Another thing to note is that they are trying to diversify thier economy. This won't happen overnight but in 20-30 years oil is not going to be the cornerstone thier economy.

Unfortunately they have been lazy. Happy to sell raw products rather than refined materials. Shell pumps are in 70 countries in the world. They are completely vertically integrated from pumping oil out of the the ground right upto selling you cigarettes and coffee at the pumps. Where is the Arab Shell? Its probably too late now - unless they can undercut the competition at the pumps.

Wet dreams all over the thread..

Yasser Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund, said today that the fund will invest one trillion riyals (250 billion dollars) in the next five years in new projects..

Some groups inside KSA are gathering together. Recent missile attack on Riyadh was an inside job, Yemen refused the missile attack. Take it a hint.

If these Groups gain ground and power then Saudi era will come to its end. War on Yemen has consequences beyond Yemen, it is helping the suppressed Groups to freely strengthen their capabilities.

They will absolutely try to destroy Al-Saud family's biggest financial Source. So the oil facilities getting attacked on Daily basis.
