No such thing as one Arab identity.
Arabism, Baathism (Arab Socialism,) Nasserism, and pro-KSA Muslim Brotherhood factions have all failed.
All that is left are a states who are puppet of foreign powers. Some clients to US, others to Russia/Iran.
Isn’t it time to accept it?
You are Muslims first and there is no difference between you and any other Muslim.
We are all on the hit list, just at different times.
It is not hate, but rightful blame.
They created the domino effect which destroyed the Ottoman Empire and ended the Khilafat.
It all began with their ill-thoughtout attacks on the Hijaz Railways.
Atatürk did the correct thing, he recovered Turkey and repulsed their land armies. He had to officially end the Khilafat, as it had become a client state of the Europeans after losing Arabia, Egypt, etc.
Then against, Arab nationalists are doing nothing but followings the Sunnah of their progenitor, Yazid bin Muawiyah.
Bro, Just ask yourself the following question: How many islamic states were there in 1920 to 24, completely independent?
The continuation of the caliphate meant that it could be completely under the control of Britain or another hegamon step by step in that days. Think of a Vatican in Islam, a clergy group that is disconnected from its society, and deeply connected to the anglican church.
While more than 90% of the Muslim world under occupation, what could defend by young rebuplic ? What tribal leaders have gained except from a decades-long bloody price which they turned their back to the Turks as a result of great promises? Betrayal was not against us, everyone betrayed herself.
On the other hand, the Caliphate was not officially abolished. The powers were transferred to the parliament and the caliphate institution was suspended, so no assignment was made. You can find a lot of official documents. As you know , The caliphate cannot be removed, but we can say that it is very simply went on vacation. Caliphate institution does not belong to a state, it is just a sign of unity.
The period of empires ended. Now we are in another world. However , all we need to know, The sacred relics and the portents of the caliphate are not in the British Museum , but are still in the Muslim lands together with the banner of Liva-ül Hamd. Our Muslim brothers, who still call İstanbul as Constantinople , need to know this first. The holy relics of the our Prophet (sav) have been representing the honor of Istanbul for over 500 years.
What we need to think about now is how to establish an equal, fair and common order in the islamic world of the future.
They are corrupting our religion and all of our moral values under the pressure of radicalization. We must be the ones to fight this. Instead of constantly discussing the issue of the caliphate, we need to leave this behind and learn to unite in our common values. At least, we need to achieve a minimum of understanding, and learn to walk with an unwavering belief, even if few in number.
