Mr. Sarwar hopefully brings some fresh thinking. I don't know much about him but he looks and talks like an educated and sincere Pakistani. His experience in UK is invaluable.

If PTI gets gov't in 2018, he could very well be made foreign minister

In some countries opposition makes a shadow government appointments. Like opposition will designate already who will be finance, foreign, defense, internal security ministers if they win next election. Easy way for people to know what will be the future team if they elect this party. I think Imran should make it public too whosoever he wants to appoint at key positions of he wins. But he has been immature thus far and hasn't shown that kind of insight into things. Had it not been for abysmal performance of this government, he would have lost good part of his support.

Sarwar is a person of good character. Since he renounced his British Nationality and wanted to work for Pakistan, there was no way back for him. Good that he joined PTI if he felt Noon League was no longer the party he presumed and admired.

PS: Sarwar may still have some lenience for his former party as did Javed Hashmi but he is more like a worker and not a brought-up leader in Pakistani culture so the matter will never take such a hype

Actually, Governorship in Pakistan is already a ceremonial post, He was just obliged on the request of G.Brown.
For me, his resignation is final & official admission of the failure of London Plan....nothing else.
He is a good person nonetheless but his admission in PTI at near vice president level will fluid the situation in internal politics of PTI, nothing constructive.

Prospects of Shadow Cabinet and his abilities..........this is Pakistan not UK.
