As an employee of Airbus i feel sad that this happened and can only even more feel sad for the relatives, friends and families of the dead.

But i would like to ask you guys to stop rumors that the airplane got shot down or that a bomb was involved. Both things are not true. unlikely. That is said to stir up anger in russia against putins war in syria. which is against american interests. We could see a mark on the landung strip and the airplane hit the ground almost intact...only the aft section broke off.

We guess that the pilot oversteered the airplane during take off and had a tail strike. that means the fuselage touched the landing strip and got damaged. There were small but noticeable cabin pressure fluctuations as the airplane gained altitude. When the airplane reached 9000 meters we suddenly see a growing loss in cabin pressure and the system tries to compensate that. At one point the oxygen masks dropped out and then within seconds we had an explosive loss of cabin pressure. Most likely the already damaged bulkhead finally gave by and imploded. That implosion created a huge hole in the aft section, the cabin floor collapsed and several seats got sucked out. Those would be found 8km away from the final crash site. The collapsed cabin floor cut off cables and madevthe airplane uncontrolable. It went into a dive, the aft section broke off and it crashed.

egypt will denie terrorism completly because it destroyes their tourism sector. The only income they have.

Russia would never admitt terrorism, because it would putins little adventure in syria in a bad light.

The decision by the Interstate Aviation Committee to suspend flying certificates for Boeing 737s currently in use in Russia will not result in flights being grounded, an official from Russian aviation watchdog Rosaviatsya was quoted as saying on Friday.

Sergei Izvolskiy, an aide to the watchdog's head, was cited by TASS news agency as saying only Rosaviatsya can make decisions on flight suspensions.

"Rosaviatsya has not made such a decision," he said.

Refers to an EgyptAir flight from the French capital that crashed in the Mediterranean in May.
Traces of explosives have been found on some of the victims of an EgyptAir flight MS804 from Paris that crashed in the Mediterranean Sea in May, Egypt’s Civil Aviation Ministry said on Thursday.

A Ministry statement has said a criminal investigation will now begin into the crash of Flight 804, which killed all 66 people on board and came just seven months after a Russian passenger plane was blown up over the Sinai Peninsula in an attack claimed by the Islamic State (IS) group.

That attack, which killed all 226 people on board in October 2015, led to widespread flight cancellations and dealt a major blow to Egypt’s vital tourism sector, already weakened by years of unrest unleashed by the 2011 uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak.

Egypt has never officially said what caused the downing of the Russian plane. But a local IS affiliate said it blew up the plane with a bomb smuggled on board, and Russia said the aircraft was likely downed by explosives.

No group has claimed it

No one has claimed to have brought down Flight 804. The Airbus A320 crashed as it approached Egypt’s northern coast before dawn on May 19.

France’s accident investigation agency has said that smoke detectors went off during Flight 804’s final moments. Spokesman Sebastien Barthe told AP earlier this year that such messages “generally mean the start of a fire.”

Industry publication Aviation Herald has reported that sensors detected smoke in the plane’s lavatory, as well as a fault in two of the plane’s cockpit windows in the final moments of the flight.

France opened a criminal investigation into the disaster in June.

Recent attacks by the IS

The IS has carried out several attacks in recent years, mainly in the Sinai, where it is based, but also on the Egyptian mainland. The group claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing at a Cairo church on Sunday, which killed at least 24 people, mainly women, and wounded nearly 50.

In recent months, Egypt has spent millions of dollars trying to restore international confidence in its airport security measures. Russia had suspended all flights to Egypt after the October crash, while Britain cancelled flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, the Red Sea resort from which the airliner took off.
