In reality, Northern Pakistan, and approval of Pakistan's Powerful Military, can not be "bypassed" if you want access to central asia...It can't happen atleast for next 10 years or so...can't say anything beyond that.

India is working on linking Chabhar to Kabul & beyond by roads & rails - Fact.

Now when India is very much working on a sea route to CAR through Iran & Afghanistan, than why in the world do we need Northern Pakistan & approval of PA on the first place??

The fact that we are working on a sea route rather than a direct land route is in itself a proof that we don't wanna take the Pakistani route.

Central Asia oil resources will be available to India and beyond if something like this works out - the problem is instability in Afghanistan which is not letting this happen.
