RAWALPINDI PAKISTAN Deputy Minister of Defense of #Russia Alexander Fomin arrived on a working visit to #Pakistan He visited the Ministry of Defence Production, where the defence delegations of both countries held a session of the Russian-Pakistani Military Advisory Committee. Representatives of the defense ministries of both countries confirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the military field. During the negotiations, a positive assessment was given to dynamically developing mutually beneficial relations in the military field and confirmed the desire to maximize the developed potential to strengthen military cooperation. USSR played a role in helping India against Pakistan and creating Bangladesh in 1971.

The Russian's are grateful to Pakistan for helping them win independence from USSR in 1991.
