So in that case you should post your "protestant/anglican/whatever religion" papers...as the passport does not contain any mention of religion...
May ask what was the reason for your fathers/grandfathers migration to UK? Were they always Christian? What part of Pakistan did they hail from? Do you speak any of the native languages of Pakistan? Have you ever been to visit???
1. There are no such things as "protestant" papers, do you have papers certifying you as a Muslim? To be a protestant christian you have to be baptized in a church as a baby.
2. On My fathers side my great-grandfather came to the what was then Great Britain to study medicine in the early 30's, when war broke out he was given an emergency commission called and IEC and was posted to a 28th British and Indian combined hospital in Shaiba during WWII. After the British Nationality Act of 1948 he was granted British Nationality for service to Empire and his community.
3. My paternal great grand father was born in what is now Karachi
4. Yes my parental family are Christian as far back as my great grandfather and grandmother. Obviously before them they may have been Hindu/Pagan/Muslim, I really don't know.
5. Yes I can understand Urdu, I can speak basic Urdu but cannot read it.
