MOSCOW, January 1. /TASS/. Russian fighter jets Sukhoi Su-27 will continue to be on combat duty at airbases in Belarus, chief press officer in Western Military District Colonel Oleg Kochetkov told reporters.

First shift of Russian pilots went on combat service at the Baranovichi airfield in December 2013. Twenty-four Russian crews were on combat duty in Belarusian skies in 2014.

“As in the previous year crews of fighter jets Su-27 will be on combat service at Belarusian airbases jointly with Belarusian crews of fighter jets MiG-29,” Kochetkov said.

He noted that pilots from the Western Military District had made around 300 training and combat flights in joint combat service in 2014.

Close friend of mine a couple of months ago went to Belarussia. Prior to that, he supported Maidan, but after the trip changed his opinion. He was struck by the cleanliness of streets in Belarussia, low prices, very high quality food products. On the streets there are no homeless people, drunks and beggars.
There will always be people unhappy with the situation. For example, Russia gives after 2008 several thousands passports to immigrants from Europe and America.
