What's new

Russia has lost 2,000 visually confirmed tanks in Ukraine

Total rubbish Forbes and economist said in 18 days ruble will fall, Seriously tell me you didn’t just quote those two news outlets

18 months later Russia is growing faster than ever

You have no idea of Russia amour production

And I simply don’t have the time to keep posting a comprehensive reply’s outlining all the factory names and details
Notice that late february 2022? Thats the true value of the ruble.

Before the war, Russia produced 250 tanks per year. Now Russia can produce 600 tanks per year. In addition, North Korea also has a production capacity of 200 vehicles. China expects that there will be no major changes in the battlefield situation! The Russo-Ukrainian war eased after 8 months. Because next year is an election year in the United States. At that time, the U.S. dollar will also stop raising interest rates, and there will be no need for a war in Ukraine. Begin to issue U.S. dollars to acquire foreign high-quality assets.

I seem to remember Russias highest number of tanks build in a year was 175, half of them were exported. If Russia actually were building 600 tanks per year now, the UralVagonZavod would have to stop producing everything else for civilian purpose like railway, agriculture etc.

I think 200 T-90M a year is doable. A lot of men were draft to war. The factories are short on men. Granted, if they hire Chinese they an make up for the loss in man power.

Maybe they can produce 200 tanks but its a far cry from Medvedevs much touted 1.500 per year. I sometimes wonder if Putins minions live in a bubble.

I have found that Westerners are accustomed to using static thinking to analyze paper data, which is very different from the thinking habits of Chinese people.

Economics has a fundamental rule: demand determines productivity. So the manufacturing capacity of Russian tanks will increase as the war continues.

We can even predict that a large number of military orders will reactivate and expand Russia's heavy industry.

The USA should not awaken this sleeping bear. If we consider long-term geopolitical interests, this is a big trouble, not only for the USA, but also for China.
That's not how it works you are mixing economics with manufacturing. Your manufacturing capabilities are defined by number of workers, engineers, factories, and related goods production (aka steel, optics, chips)

None of the determining factors have scaled since the start of war.

The former Soviet Union had a production capacity of 3,000 tanks. There are currently 4 factories in Russia with tank production capacity. Russian experts estimate the current production capacity of 600 vehicles.

you are talking about new builds here

Russian can very quickly overhaul and upgraded the T55/T62 and T72 for the war and they are doing it in the 1000s

the storage factory's in the East are running trains to the overhaul facilities and they are being sent into the war

West has run out of ATGM but Russia still has not run out of tanks its just wishful thinking

just shows how deep resources Russia has and Bakhmut is a fine example of hard Russia is willing to fight, those guys are too tough

anyone who thinks Zelensky can succeed where Napoleon and Hitler failed is delusional

and almost every smart missile and bomb is being jammed by the Russian electronic forces including JDAMS

Russia ability to adapt is under estimated

I honestly dont care what the sovjet union once did or claimed they did. Whats the point? Ukraine was part of the sovjet union too. Why do people keep talking about sovjet achievements as if they were russian.
Russia only has one factory producing tanks. They may be able to refurbish some 60 year old sovjet tanks at a few sites, but that doesnt count as production capacity.

so russia is adapting by collecting T55 and T62 at the scrap yard? Is that it?
And please dont waste your time comparing a russian invasion to Russia /Sovjet defending against an invasion. Im not an idiot.

he is talking about prioritizing. And Russia wasn't prioritizing the war and replacing losses and now they are focusing on that. E.g. when America got attacked by Japan after Pearl Harbour and went into war manufacturing overdrive.
