Bulls**t of the highest order. There is no child labor in Bangladesh, especially garments. This has been proven many times.

London-based Thinktank. Right....

Indian posters should be banned from posting in Bangladesh section.

@waz bhai and @WAJsal bhai, troll bait post.

How does a guy with 29 negatives still get posting privileges?

Why, because they burst your bubbles ?

Child labour still rising

The link you provided supports Bilal's claim that RMG sector is child labor free. I would like to see any article from Alliance or Accord supporting your claim the only western organizations given access to RMG factories for observing purposes. Go fetch Good D......

Bangladesh slum kids work over 60 hours a week to make clothes

DHAKA: One third of children living in the slums of Bangladesh’s capital spend more than 60 hours a week making clothes for the garment sector, well beyond the legal working limit, a London-based thinktank has said.

Funny that So many kids making clothes in factories but your source had to post photos of two kids from Traditional North Bengal Hand loomed Weaver Houses, They are most probably helping their mother, A familiar scene in Villages of North Bengal like Pabna Sirajganj

He said 'There is no child labor in Bangladesh' & I was refuting that. And the source is BBS.

I don't think any Bangladeshi garment exporter has to prove to anyone other than their buyers that Child labor is non-existent. The parties involved are the buyers, Bangladeshi garment exporters and then maybe (maybe...) child labor investigation committees from western countries who routinely investigate these issues for western (European) govts.

The thread started by the OP, a confirmed Indian troll, proves a few things
  • Some Indians are keenly interested in bashing Bangladesh
  • They would like to sabotage Bangladeshi success in any sphere in the international arena.
  • Some Indians are jealous of Bangladesh' success in being a garments exports powerhouse when their own exports in the same area is unsuccessful and in the doldrums.
  • I am not going to stoop to a low enough level to discuss child-labor issues in India, especially in BIMARU states (carpet industries and indentured servitude).
  • Bangladesh keeps attracting FDI, is developing rapidly and some jealous Indians want to see that go away.
  • Puzzling in that Bangladeshis mostly wish for a prosperous India but some Indians are still preoccupied in actively wishing and working for a poverty-ridden Bangladesh.
  • In PDF - you mostly see Indians coming in and trolling in the Bangladeshi forums. The reverse is rarely, if ever - true...
I ask that either @waz or @WAJsal Bhai close this thread before it devolves into a full-scale mud-slinging troll-fest between Indian and Bangladeshi posters. It is a useless thread and not worthy of discussion.
