Seymour Hersh is telling some truths, and some lies.

It's true that the raid took place with the full cooperation of Kayani. A very senior retired ISI official told me that the helicopters used were shipped to Karachi and transported to the location where they flew from.

The lies he tells is that Osama was killed and his body taken. Osama was never there, only his family.

There was a news clip on YouTube from a Pakistani news channel with a woman reporter interviewing eye witnesses in Urdu. I think it was Meher Bukhari. This is what the eye witnesses said:

They saw two helicopters in the air. One came down to the compound, but it exploded. The eye witnesses were there and saw dead bodies of soldiers from the wreck of the helicopter. Then the Pakistan Army came and forced them to leave.

The second helicopter stayed in the air and flew away.

Obviously, they never went into the house or anything. And they never killed a previously dead Osama.

I can't find that news clip on YouTube. It's been scrubbed, but if I find it I'll post it.

Pakistan was fucked left, right, centre, top, bottom basically all directions. The world wide humiliation was immense - there is 0% chance ISI or Army would risk that.

Above all, Pakistan Army was hiding Osama and extracting billions of dollars from Americans and that was feeding bankrupt Pakistan since 9/11 so Army would have never given up Osama on it's own.

So let’s lay down some cold hard facts


1) the Americans never really provided any evidence of proof of death. To date forget video but even a photo of his dead body was never released

2) Pakistan military denied they knew Osama lived there with his wives and children in a garrison town. I think every one on this forum knows how intrusive ie police state run by Pakistan army is so for them not to know that America's wanted man just popped up is unbelievable. Pakistanis who lived there in Abbottabad know all movements is monitored especially of those taking up "permanent residence".

3) the American official reaction or the lack of it . American top officials were pretty cool about it , and to top it of post that “raid” $3.3b was given to Pakistan , F16s , low level radars etc

4) about the investigative journalist Hersh he constantly exposed US military criminality in Vietnam , Iraq , and now In Ukraine. Despite every crap thrown at him he refuses to withdraw his story on OBL raid.

5) Pakistan has a very robust air defense, never mind the $1 b Rathyon GCI, awacs , constantly patrolling Fighters especially around sensitive areas Pakistan air defense has series of air observers ie men in 4x4 jeeps around key points with sound hearing equipment to detect low flying helo. Pakistan developed this defense grids in response Indian low flying helo reconnaissance mission in side Pakistan territory during the 1980s.

6) just prior to the raid Wapda did a “load shedding” at the time of operation. We all know how much “load shedding” goes around defense cantonment areas.

The entire world knows it was a fake raid.

unlikely that is true

PAF has a potent defense grid....more importantly the Americans had to bring PA on board. the Americans could not risk thier supply lines be cut...


regardless what is for certain Pentagon and Rawalpindi were on board from the get go. As a long time observer I have seen in public they act like hostile friends..for public consumption ..... in reality they are buddies.

proof of death rests with Washington, as they claim to have murdered OBL. to date no evidence has been provided. (sorry a press conference, a Hollywood movie, plus some great acting camera stills do not count)

The lead they theory on his death was that he died in 2001 as a result of injuries from American bombing of Tora bora. FSB caught one of his 40+ heavily armed Chechen body guards who revealed this fact upon interrogation.

notice no Chechen guards were present during the "raid". keep in mind some of these Chechens were truely bad assess having fought in the first and second Chechen wars against Russia.
