Renault In Pakistan

.
So is renault going to import ckd's from India? They have invested 6300 crores in India and 5000 more planned but their plants are running at 50/60% capacity. Imports from India would be cheaper logistics wise and the same time utilize their idle capacity
That depends entirely on India being favourable to the idea.

Islamabad—The French Ambassador Martine Dorance, Tuesday, observed that French automobile companies were keen to invest in Pakistan. .

MUAHAHA!! It's been over a year that I first reported on this forum that the European automakers are wanting to come to Pakistan. At that time, I was called names, and many from the Pakistan and almost all Indian members almost harassed me .

Then came the intent to invest from Volks Wagon, a couple of Far-Estern companies and now Renault-Nissan. And after this, you'll have more, including the American automakers :enjoy:

Only some components will be brought from the Indian manufacturing units initially. This will be an entirely Build in Pakistan type of an operation. Modi's little "Make in India" obviously gets a lot of attention due to 1.2 billion people and a lot of money behind him, but wherever NS goes, he asks for the same, the line he uses is "Build in Pakistan" and help us promote your products to the Chinese and to the ME countries where you may not have influence (on products in discussion).

. . . .
American cars are getting better in quality and reliability and Pakistan should look at JVs with US car manufacturers.

.
Renault-Nissan should setup a manufacturing/assembly plant in Gwader.
Technology should be transferred to local auto industry (parts manufacturer).
At the same time invite Belarus MINSK auto group to invest in Bus, Truck and tracker manufacturing in Pakistan.

bmw's are for girls with good taste or for guys with no lives.(no offense)

That must mean lot of guy's in UK have no lives. I guess they waste their life on highways and byways.

Mercedes are for gentlemen

Got one. Did not like them bar few exceptions.

some new wheels

6 series coupe is nice but too large and clumsy for me. It is either BMW 4 series coupe.

cars on lease contract

Never buy new car. In first year the depreciation is massive. So I go for 9 month to 12 month old car which already has taken big hit. It still is almost brand new and plenty of life left in it.

can i still call you that

No worries.

good.
so that means you buy cars which were on short term lease of the dealer then? thats a good idea. to bad my uncle didn't have that logic. he spent £83000.00 on a white s class. its lost a good 10000 in about a year
looks almost similar to the car below

i find them weird

In that case I am one of them. I spend lot of time on the roads.

Had one. Some decade back.

exceptions

Merc SL

newer 3 series coupe

Exactly. The new 3 series coupe is now branded as "4 series". The picture of 4 series you posted is my preferred next car.

its lost a good 10000 in about a year

Not surprised. Most cars lose astronomical amount in the first year although with many cars that continues for another two years before the depreciation slows down. You always ( well bar some exceptions ) lose money on cars.

Want appreciation? Go buy a house. Downside they don't move.

houses down south are to expensive im guessing thats where you live. you may as well bulk (5) in one go up north. and rent them out. the cheapest house i have seen in the Brough went for about £20000.00. whilst the most expensive is about £5 million. average is about £150000.

ps. i live in the best place in the country earning money wise. low cost houses and low mortgage rates combined with average wages results in very good living standards.
