Reforming Pakistani culture - The importance of good culture.

As it is said, good culture creates good people and bad culture creates bad people..we are all by product of our culture...civilized societies pay special important to culture and social values..to create a peaceful tolerance and ethical society..our dilemma is that there is no national level effort for cultural development creating a social vacuum which is then filled with street class people and foreign influence...be it mullahs or mirasi...we ..as a nation at core level..are completely hijacked from every side...due to lack of national efforts to develop culture...even our identity has become at stake..what does being a Pakistani means?? no one can answer..despite having a heritage of 5000 years we have disowned our past..and try to emulate Arabs and seek glory in their history...our local languages are going extinct as the state is imposing linguistic fascism...imposing a foreign language upon native population while suppressing mother tongue...

Lets make is clear, Pakistan has only been in existence of 70 Years...but Baloch, Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashtun, Tajik, Seraiki and more then 300 other ethnic groups have lived on this land for thousands of years, flourished their language and their culture. With our without Pakistan, these people will continue to exist and hold loyalty to their land. As history of human evolution shows, no state borders are permanent and we learned that lesson already in 1971. Once in a while there are major shake up which leads to birth and death of different states...

Just because Pakistan was formed as part of British colonial withdrawal does not mean the native communities will give up their arts, culture and language to take up a new state imposed identity.. it is foolish..

While we may have turned to Islam at some point in history, our culture is still the same extremely backward and conservative typical south Asian...which we proudly call eastern values but in reality it is a disgrace to human dignity...our concepts of ethics, dignity and honor at cultural level are totally non existent..we feel dishonored if somebody wants to take our sister on a date..but we are absolutely fine with stealing taxes and doing away with our national obligations..what a shame...sexuality and relationships are an important part of healthy adult life..without which human suffers extreme psychological disorders. Cultures suppressing natural human activity breed entirely sick and mentally unfit nations which we have become already...the disorder of asexuality, dysfunction and impotence is wide spread in our society and it is no secret that sexual disorders are directly linked with extremist personality disorders..

Terrorism so far is also product of this backward, conservative and stagnating culture like a pond of still water which stinks..it is slowly decaying our nation from inside..we can blame it all we want on extremist and terrorist and brain washing...but the fact remains that such happens due to our own cultural short comings...we need to instill values of hard work, honesty, integrity, ethics and creativity in young minds rather than false glorification of Arab, Persian, Turk and Mongol invaders.

We need more liberalism like European society with freedom of thought and speech. Logical questioning should be open rather than creating false holiness off limit to question or criticism...Young people should take charge of their life and not remain mummy daddy up until they are married..this is sickening the society down to the core with each generation being born becoming dumb and dumber...it create a ripe playing field for nonsense conspiracy theories and mullah fodder...

Responsible reproduction and family size limitations are important if we are to ever succeed in development...it is always quality of life rather than quantity of life..no nation became powerful by reproducing like pigs..nations become powerful by developing their resources and achievements..not by over population..our culture has literally no concept on quality of life..it is often the case to see extremely poor people having 6-8 kids...poverty breeds poverty...and deprivations breed mental disorders..the eventual result of which is vengeance..and then somebody wants to strap a bomb and explode...as their revenge on society which failed to give them anything..

We have completely out sourced the job of culture and social development to mullahs and no wonder our nation is only bustling with terrorist..terrorist are perhaps our most efficient production now..!

I see it in another way. I read some where in Quran that Allah created rich and poor so that we humans could get work and employment from each other.
About quality of life.
The reason why we are not able to have a decent and intersting culture is that people's earning sources have become limited.
For examples we can see that many privately owned transport vehicles have a lot or art work on them. Reason is they are slightly free to make earnings so they still care to express them selves.
Living in big city i see a lot of potential for milk sale in the city. But probably people in vilages cannot keep animals because the chaudhari will get jealous.
Local sweet shops have ended because huge sweets n bakery chains have replaced them.
So people have left with no option except work at those shops at meagre salaries.
There are no playing grounds for common children.
We dont have any locally produced cartoon movies for children. We dont have any children story books and neither have children loving authors.
We dont have any book shops where children could get story books from their pocket mony to amuse them selves and to have their vision broadened.
If an enterprenure starts a business with an idea and a theme the people eat up his money n he has no court to go and ask for justice. This way no body will do business. And exploiters will keep on getting work from people at say 15000 per month. this way people are in survival mode and expressions of life ars not visible.
We should notice that we are a nation of 20000000 and if say 100000 bad scenes come out in a week the rest
199900000 people still lived good lives or atleast moved towards betterment.
