Rectal rehydration and broken limbs: the grisliest findings in the CIA torture report

Wait seriously u rape people and say it is ok and kill them and say it is in the past, oh and that you had others kiilled for doing half of what you did when you could have also said let us start on a new path. Or wait was that to send a message to the world at that time that torture is wrong :coffee:

The report clearly details all the mistakes that were made as an open admission of wrongdoings that will not be repeated again. That, in itself, is a huge step forward, and one that should be taken positively. It take courage to speak out the truth, no matter how ugly.

Japan lost the war and surrendered. When USA surrenders in defeat, you can do whatever you like. Fair?
so your logic is who is weaker is at fault... I salute the thinking you have, and that means that law means nothing to you at the same time.

Thanks for finally admitting, what we knew all along, your thoughts regarding human rights stop at your adopted country's border, what a nasty hypocrite you are.

I am merely accepting human nature as it truly is, throughout history and today.

Anthony Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union, said the Senate report provided a blueprint for possible prosecution. Romero also said that if Obama granted formal pardons to Bush administration officials, that would send a signal that torture prosecutions could occur in future.

The victims won their case in the US Supreme Court to have their day in court. Due process is being followed as best as possible given the lack of precedent of such an atrocious attacks on the US mainland as happened on 9/11. where there are lacunae, such as those shown by this report, will be fixed. That is how the process works and improves.

Well I think there is something fundamentally wrong in what happened , and this behavior is some what in line with War crimes , at least when someone killed a person with gun in war , they die in 3 minutes a rather humane death, war rules state if you capture a combatant , you must treat them with dignity and respect ...

But ...this .. stuff what they did its ...Just sick ...

Disgusting , inhumane sick and disturbing really - I mean who does this sick stuff

Just reading it ... makes one wanna puke out of shear disgust

Like I said, no matter what we do, we'll get our balls busted. Look at this now. Do you bitch as much about the jihadis' when they hack a western head off ? I doubt it. So f*ck 'em, again.

It puts you on the same scale as the evil jehadi, so you torture too, not as bad as them, but in the same ballpark. One thing that is self evident is your hypocrisy, we want no lecturing on human rights - from the US from now on, you lost that right when you shoved food up a detainee's arse.

As I said, the process is not yet complete. It will move ahead in ways that nobody can predict right now.

truly terrible.
but you gotta do what you gotta do. terrorists are some hardcore fanatics.
That is the most callous remark one can make... you gotta do what you gotta do is tht what you said when you executed Japanese for torture. Imagine an American soldier treated like that and tell me what you would say.

Unfortunately , in all form of combat one has to respect POW , and rape or sleep deprivation is act against humanity apologies there are folks , in US prisoners living in cells for death penalty , so why were these Humans different ?

The report also indicates that they napped "wrong people" with no connection what so ever many times ? so did that justified their rape or good knows what happened to those folks?

The double standard is no means to rationalize Rape or Torture of prisoners

Thank you - I think rule of combat is plain if you can't treat a prisoner humanly , put him down

You don't go raping the prisoner and keeping them awake 102 -300 hours or torturing for 2-4 weeks

You need to sober up and read everything that has been said. You rape someone you go to jail if you do it to a prisoner you get worse punishments, if you kill someone or withhold food or water you are torturing them and you if you have gotten permission from the Government to do all that then what differentiates one torturer from another.
