this is sad, Iraq attack by US was a crime IMO. I do not think they tried to avoid that war Saddam was ready to negotiate. There was no WMD either, some people does not realize they have made mess of life of millions for their personal goal. I feel Bush had some personal gain in it. I have met so many people here and hardly found anyone who supported this.

The video made me sad, I can't even image what might have gone through those innocent people. I see conflict is growing in this world and we need to do something about it.

Very Sad to watch this .US always think Muslims are terrorists, but he is the real terrorist of the world who killed many innocent people's. our Governments & people must think why they are supporting such terrorism against nothing but only for their own people.

If we wanted to attack places of worships, we would have destroyed every one that we came across, the way Saddam did to Kuwaiti oil fields. The accepted rules of war is that if you do not want your places of worships to be targeted, then do not use them for military operations. Same for hospitals and schools. But even non-US human rights NGOs have acknowledged that muslim fighters have little or no respects for places of worships, hospitals schools, even their own, in Iraq, Kuwait and in Lebanon.

Take a look at Europe. Church steeples make great O.P.s. Everybody targeted them during W.W. II because everybody used them at any afforded opportunity. Both sides. We've pre-plotted all known churches on our 1:25,000/1:50,000 maps. Can't miss them.

Good to know their locations to avoid attacking them. Good to know their locations if necessary to attack them.

In the end, they're just buildings and nobody's faith is measured by the size of the temple where they worship...

...nor the amount of ammo stored within.

Laughable sh!t suitable only for those without an ounce of history behind them and nothing but hate in front of them.

I will say this, I have friends in the 101st, I know they dont attack places of worship, and I also know that this too is hard and bitter reality, that, if places of worship are found with armed people in them or weapons, that, they will get in the crossfire.

Though I have sincere hope that, it will be made policy to do their utmost to preserve these places of worship and try not to get them in the cross fire

and since I have great love for , I will ask the OP to post original details about the video and some background info as well.

Let us not jump to conclusions without some real info about the video.

A very sad & heart breaking video to watch. IF the mujaheddin had been using it as a cover, its their bad & are to be held responsible, but by looking at the amount of fire & the maximum hit area is not the place where any insurgent would be hiding. Snipers could have done the work, one or two AT-4 rounds would have worked to get anybody hiding in the minaret. Plus there are many other ways to have flushed out the mujaheddin hiding inside, if they were. But do check out the voices of the american soldiers in the back ground who are yelling as crazy maniacs fully enjoying the show, that's the saddest part. This tells the mentality of these soldiers who are firing at these minarets just for practice firing.

MOD EDIT: Can't allow you to pray for anyones death on the forum, even American soldiers. Many of whom do they jobs honorably and responsibly.
