official said the PTI-led government both at the Centre and Punjab placed a highly important project into cold storage, which was under consideration for three decades and was going to kick-start Rs 1 trillion economic activity in this region.

It appears regime has been distributing cash to the people after changing it's route.... how can politicians decide who to hand out cash and how much!

This sound corrupt from beginning... there must be investigation of transfers and promotions of bureaucrats concerning this project, by the ruling clergy.

I bet the whole route change have connection with Iranian loyalists in Pakistan, who almost always are behind every loss and destruction this country ever encounter.... where as Imran Khan and core team, has taken corruption and destruction to whole new level.

Can you please detail how a Regime that is 2.5 years old, distributing cash upon changing of route ?

IK stopped the project, got it investigated and identified the culprits which even included two bureaucrats who were ex military.

This all must be new for patwaris who are used to khata hai tu lagata bhi hai logic. It's about time patwaris accept piggy Nawaz is never coming back to power.

Wtf .. it was actually imran khan who halted the bidding process and asked for investigations to see why the ring road route was prolonged (attock loop). The initial route by NHA didn't have it and it added Rs 24 billion more on the cost .Also which housing schemes were collaborating by bribes to have ring road pass by their territory.People involved in the scam have been fired like DC rawalpindi Muhammad Mahmood AC ADC attock and others.
That's it.. it's got nothing to do with iranians..

Shehbaz Sharif was accused to have front man in all projects, which he was executing while being CM of Punjab.
