I am not overestimating BD importance. You better ask your military planners about the importance of the geographical location of BD. You should also understand why China gives so much importance to this small country. Also, do some checking on the location map of BD.

Quite honestly I have. Since I know a lot of people in IA. They are not overtly concerned. Saying that IA does not care is in-correct and would be a fallacy on their end. They are not concerned enough to dedicate resources to the threat.

The current assessment is that BD does not have the resources to hold the chicken neck. Even if BD somehow manages to move in and take the chicken neck, it does not have assets to protect the supply lines, the forces holding the neck will be cut-off from behind. Besides, BD is so close to the Indian border that we could simply open artillery batteries to batter BD in-case of a war.

Regarding China's interest, they are solely interested because of India and its Navy's role in the region. They too would like a presence in the BOB, so don't patronize yourself, the both of us know the cause of China's interest.

Coming back to RAW, its sole reason to exist ***is*** to conduct operations and influence decision making in the neighboring countries. If they don't do this job, they are a waste of time and resources. That is why all countries including BD has a "counter intelligence" division. So start making hem effective and accountable and stop whining...

1.BD armed forces / doctrine are designed to defend the motherland against any aggression. We have no plan to conquer other's territory.

2. However, if a situation arises where we need to advance into the Siliguri Corridor, we need to work out a contingency with our ally China. PLAAF must provide us air cover. PLA must be available to link up with our advance at the other end at the foot of the Himalayas.
